Chip Foose created the specialty paint scheme for Gordon's DuPont ride for the February 26 NEXTEL Cup race at California Speedway. The design, inspired by heat rising off the asphalt on race day, incorporates a combination of DuPont Hot Hues paints. Primary colors are Blackened and Stary Night. The car also incorporates Hot Hues accents in Snow Storm, Atomic Tangerine, Lemon Glow, Dragon Fire and Sassy Orchid. This "Hot Hues" hat carries the Foose Hot Hues Logo on the front with DuPont on the back. Jeff's number 24 is stitched on the side.
